IEC at Household Level

We engage through door-to-door outreach activities such as segregation demonstrations, sticker distribution, home composting demos, segregation monitoring, and citizen feedback. The focus is to have a one-to-one conversation.

IEC at Community Level (BWG)

We focus on SHGs, housing societies, restaurants, religious institutions, and market areas. Designing communication strategy to suit each community, involving local leaders, providing suitable waste management solutions and monitoring progress ensures zero-waste communities.

IEC for school

Our activity based programs – waste audit, segregation ladder, school eco-club, school composting – ensure high level of engagement and sustainable behavior change in children. Field trips to waste-processing center and plastic lab initiatives have beena huge success!

Home Composting

we actively engage with households through demonstrations, knowledge session for practicing home composting. Rigourous monitoring and technical support ensures that households continue the practice and contribute towards zero-waste wards. Our bio-liquid composters in Baramati have been adopted by 300+ households

Zero-waste Events

our standard operating procedure (SOPs) for zero waste events ensures waste at public gatherings, weddings, events is segregated and processed in environmentally sustainable manner. We created 10+ zero-waste events so far

05

GVP closure through PRA

we engage with communities and remove GVPs/dark spots using Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method. In PRA we map out the infrastructure, potential causes, and issues through public deliberation. The approach has been successful in solving GVP/dark spots issues in Baramati & Deolali Pravara cities

6

IEC for Public Property Protection

we engage with citizens creating awareness about proper utilization of public property such as public toilets, bus stations, streets, gardens etc. Small group meetings, creating monitoring committies and streetplay has shown good results in Deolali Pravara
