About
Rahul is the founder and director of Social Lab, where he works closely with local municipalities and private companies to strengthen and streamline city waste-management systems. He is also co-founder of 3R Solutions, on a mission to build a REUSE / packaging-reuse ecosystem for plastic packaging in India.
His work spans behaviour-change communication, EPR compliance, training and waste audits — pairing on-ground programme work with a systems view of the circular economy. He represents Social Lab and 3R Solutions on international platforms, including the PREVENT Waste Alliance Steering Committee and IFAT Munich, and in GIZ-supported research on India’s single-use-plastics value chain.
He holds a Master’s in Social Entrepreneurship from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and a B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control from COEP, Pune, and is a consistent voice on climate action and circular-economy finance.
