Which electrical and electronic equipment are covered under E-Waste EPR?
E-Waste EPR is applicable only to EEE listed in Schedule I of the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022.
Who must register for E-Waste EPR?
Producer, Manufacturer, Recycler, Refurbisher. Micro enterprises (per the MSME Development Act, 2006) are fully exempt. Bulk consumers (any entity using 1,000+ units of electronics a year — large offices, hospitals, factories) do not register but must hand old electronics only to registered players.
