Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026 Principal rule · Notified 27 January 2026 · in force 1 April 2026 — MoEFCC S.O. 388(E). Supersedes the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016. Applies to urban and rural local bodies and to every non-residential waste generator.
