Granules are recyclate that has been washed, melt-processed and cut into regular, roughly uniform particles. The granulation step homogenises the material, improves feeding consistency and allows filtration and, where required, additive dosing.
How we handle it, step by step
Feedstock is sorted by polymer and, where needed, by colour.
Material is washed to remove contamination and dried.
Recyclate is extruded through screens to remove impurities.
The melt is cut into uniform granules and cooled.
