Pellets are produced by melt-filtering and cutting recyclate into uniform particles, often with additives or colour compounded in. They are the most process-ready recycled form for injection moulding, extrusion and blow moulding.
How we handle it, step by step
Sorted, washed recyclate or flake is fed to the extruder.
Material is melted and screened to remove impurities.
Additives or colour are dosed where required.
The strand or melt is cut into pellets and cooled.
