What are the E-Waste EPR targets?
Recycling targets for Producers are phased — 60% in the first two years (FY 2023-24 & 2024-25), rising to 70% then 80%. Gold-recovery targets are especially phased given limited infrastructure. Solar panels are covered but currently have no recycling target — Producers must safely store solar-panel waste until 2034-35.
What happens if a Manufacturer doesn’t comply?
