You’re a Producer under E-Waste EPR if…
Any company selling electronics under its own brand in India (whether it makes them or sources them); importers selling under their own brand are Producers too. If your brand is on the product, you are a Producer.
Micro enterprises (per the MSME Development Act, 2006) are fully exempt. Bulk consumers (any entity using 1,000+ units of electronics a year — large offices, hospitals, factories) do not register but must hand old electronics only to registered players.
