What it is

Scope 1 Emissions Assessment, without the jargon

Scope 1 covers direct greenhouse-gas emissions from sources a company owns or controls: stationary combustion in boilers and furnaces, mobile combustion in owned fleets, process emissions, and fugitive releases such as refrigerant leaks. We quantify each source from fuel, production and refrigerant records using recognised emission factors and GWP values.
