OEMs carry ELV EPR — annual scrapping targets based on the steel in vehicles sold 15–20 years ago (15 years for transport vehicles, 20 for non-transport), met through steel-based certificates from registered scrapping facilities — alongside Battery EPR for the batteries fitted to every vehicle. Tyre EPR applies only if you import vehicles fitted with new tyres, and Used-Oil EPR only if you manufacture or import lubricating oil.
